All students at Shendy's are evaluated on the first day of classes to ensure they have been placed in the right level / class. Please remember to bring past report cards or certifications with you at the start of each session. This is optional for returning swimmers only.

Bronze Levels (Scroll down for individual level information)
You need Bronze Cross certification to become an assistant lifeguard. Bronze Cross is the prerequisite for all advanced training awards in lifeguarding and teaching. The Society introduces a revised Bronze Cross in April 2003 -courtesy of the LifeSaving Society

This level is evaluated by a LifeSavings Instructor and LifeSavings Examiner.
